Poster – The Hot Hello (2009)

October 10th, 2009

This is a poster that I did for the band The Hot Hello. One of the band members is a fellow HKS employee and he asked if I would be interested in doing a poster for their upcoming CD Release Party in Dallas.

I agreed after a quick listen to their music and the thought of all the fun I could have with the name of the band. Originally I came up with a guerilla marketing campaign that involved telephones, computers, and other forms of communication, but due to a time restriction we decided to test it out later down the road.

Not totally abandoning the original idea, I used one of the headlines with one of the images. The imagery comes from a couple of different sources provided by friends that I combined together to make the poster.

The band has said that they are interested in testing out some of my guerilla marketing experiments to promote their band. Of course, you know I said that I was interested. I look forward to working on something for them again in the very near future.

Please take a moment and go to their site to listen to some of their music.
