Collage – Konstruct (2009)

It has been awhile since I have gotten the opportunity to post anything. Work has been keeping me real busy lately. This piece started out as a poster design, but I decided to head in another direction with it. I looked at it with type on it, but in the end felt that putting type on it took away from the piece.

The imagery comes from a series of photographs that I took of a building being constructed on McKinney Avenue. For almost two years, I got to watch a building go up from start to finish, right outside of our studio window at work. It was a very impressive thing.
